Meanwhile, Figure AI's O2 robot has improved its walking ability through an end-to-end neural network trained on high-fidelity physics simulations. Figure AI also unveiled an automated production line capable of producing 12,000 humanoids annually, with plans to expand to 100,000 robots in a few years. Tesla's Optimus robot is also progressing, with appearances at Capitol Hill and plans for Mars in 2026. Tesla aims to produce 5,000 Optimus bots this year, scaling up to 50,000 next year, with exponential growth expected thereafter.
