Figma is set to introduce significant updates to its seat types and billing system starting March 11, 2025. Temporary access for up to three days is provided for first-time paid seat requests. The updates also include a shift to a licensing model with prorated billing, replacing the True up model for organization and enterprise accounts. Furthermore, Figma plans to introduce Connected Projects to facilitate collaboration with external teams, available on all paid plans in 2025.
